What's「Bottle to Bottle」?
Traditional PET bottle recycling could produce materials for packaging and textiles, but not for new PET bottles.
However, FIGP, a group company, has made horizontal recycling possible through its "Bottle to Bottle" initiative, which transforms used PET bottles into raw materials for new ones.
This process has successfully reduced CO₂ emissions compared to producing bottles from petroleum-based materials.

"Bottle to Bottle" Recycling
Ordinarily, producing 1kg of PET resin from petroleum-based materials emits approximately 1.578kg of CO₂. In contrast, the "mechanical recycling" recycling process emits only about 0.524kg of CO₂ for the same amount of resin—achieving a remarkable 67% reduction.
By promoting "Bottle to Bottle", FEJP has made it possible to reduce CO₂ emissions by over 200,000 tons annually—equivalent to the yearly emissions of around 150,000 cars or approximately 80,000 households.
"Bottle to Bottle” significantly reduces environmental impact and contributes to realizing a sustainable resource circulation system.
Using CO2-free electricity
Reducing Environmental Impact with CO₂-Free Power At FEJP, manufacturing plants are powered by CO₂-free electricity, supporting efforts to reduce environmental impact throughout the entire product lifecycle.
By utilizing electricity derived from renewable energy sources, greenhouse gas emissions during production are minimized, helping establish a more sustainable material supply system.
